How do you decide on a Coffee News area?
You can read more on the natural area or natural community. This is basically a suburb where there are 25-30 restaurants. We show you how to identify these as high turn over, medium turn over and low turn over (no exact science) to decide on the viability of the area. At the end you need to decide if it's a great area.

How do I know if Coffee News is the right opportunity for me
You need to be able to work with people and you need to love doing it. You need to be confident and willing to follow your own set of rules. You don’t have a boss telling you want to do. You need to do it all and it can be lonely if you sulk easily. You need to be able to work a computer. You also need support from your family. And if you are organised then you’ll do well. Another issue; you need to be strong when it gets to money because you are providing as service you must… more

An advertisers wants the front page top ad what do I say to her?
You are encouraged us to explain the rotation philosophy in terms of our reader's favourites. For example, someone who is a HUGE trivia nut, may always flip to that section first and likewise, someone who plans their every move according to the horoscopes may go to that section first etc

Is Coffee News a home based opportunity?
This is a difficult question to answer. Some Coffee News owners may think home based means that they can sit on their “base” and do nothing. It is home based because you will be based in your home and not in an office away from home. You will be away from home to with in your community. Therefore if you have a small baby that you need to attend to 24 hours a day then this is not for you.

What do I need to start my own Coffee News area?
You need time. Therefore you cannot do this while you have a full time job. You need a computer, a quick internet connection like ADSL, you need Corel Draw (you get this for free), you need a home office or place to work, you need a vehicle, you don’t need a printer as we outsource printing. You need stands to place in restaurants (we provide you with these for free), you need to be able to use your computer because will have to use various software programs.

At the beginning of 2009 there were only three Coffee News
When we started we advertised widely and we had more people who bought Coffee News that were not the right people. We then changed the asking price from R5000 to R15 000 per area. Then we went to R25 000 because people thought it was to easy. Coffee News is not easy. Therefore we decided not to advertise Coffee News at all and learn from the Coffee News owners out there. We had to see what makes good owners. Today we have one owner who runs his Coffee News for four years, another Coffee News is also running for four… more

# You phone business people and tell them what you do and ask for an appointment.

How much money can I make with a Coffee News area?
I though you were going to ask me this. As you may have heard from the interview with the Global Coffee News president here, Coffee News owners after time tend to have three areas in which they operate. Secondly you need to have a look at what you invest. In total you invest R35 000 plus VAT. Let’s compare that to say a Cash Converters that may cost you as mush as R1 million. With a Cash Converters you may make a R100 000 per month and you’ll be lucky if you get a pay back in one year.
